It covered pledge-donations to HIV/Aids solicited and elicited by a very highly placed government official (I'd better be careful here), but this colleague noticed that the pledges - tens if not twenties of thousands of rands - came from people who are invariable awarded municipal tenders. I call this "cynical wisdom" but I suppose we all know what was being suggested is true. Tim can clearly see mine-nationalisation coming, if not next year, then soon enough.
