2009 was an intense, eventful year – from the first black president Barack Obama to the death of pop-icon Michael Jackson. In South Africa, 2009 saw the swearing in of Jacob Zuma as president and the death of Manto Tshabalala-Msimang. Wonkie would also like to thank Julius Malema for his massive contribution to comedy in South Africa.
