The Sharpeville Massacre in South Africa took place on 21 March 1960 following a mass protest against pass laws organised by the PAC. ANCYL President Julius Malema claims that the ANC should have the glory for the protest because the PAC hijacked their anti-pass law campaign scheduled for 10 days later.
