Sarah Palin, governor of Alaska and previous US vice-president hopeful announced late last week that she would step down by the end of the month. This fueled speculation and conspiracy theories the world over with many of the opinion that she is taking some time out to try to position herself as the Republican presidential candidate in the 2012 US elections.
Given that Palin’s decision follows a week of spectacularly bad publicity, there are quite a few speculations not quite so complimentary. This includes gorgeously liberal blogger Shannyn Moore who is claiming that Palin is stepping down because she is under federal investigation. Palin’s lawyers, needless to say, got their knickers in a twist.
Wonkie stands firm in its belief that Mrs Palin’s higher calling came from an incarnation of the late, great Michael Jackson. Michael, we love you.

Perhaps if we’d all expressed this outpouring of love for Michael Jackson when he was alive, he might still be alive today…. instead we condemned him as a paedophile and crazy recluse… isn’t human nature strange?
I believe he will rest in peace although he died before he made peace with his dad now Michael left two kidz behind and they will need both their grandparents in their life anyway. May his soul rest in peace you didn’t leave us alone we will remember you all the time with your music.
Rightly said CathyB – This is something we all have to learn, understand and practice in our daily lives. There’s a saying that goes – “Don’t bring flowers when I am gone (that is dead) , but live your life like a flower” – that is be yourself like a flower who is constantly giving the beautiful fragrance of the purpose of your life to others around you and far and wide. Our purpose in life is share the inner beauty that God Almighty has bestowed upon us. But due to misuse of these inner beauty – we see how unhappy we are and hence we find faults in others. I hope that someday when we wake up in the morning we can truly say to our own selves from the core and depths our own hearts – not hearing it from others but truly from the inner self that:

@Peter – the man defined pop music as we know it… from his original dance routines, amazing lyrics, music videos and the like.. give the man some credit! You’re certainly entitled to your taste but good riddance… that’s a bit harsh!
@CathyB – the public always gets attracted and side-swept by the scandalous stuff but he was loved just as much when he was alive.. look at his concert turnouts! It’s a pity that there was so much rubbish surrounding his personal life that took the public eye off the music though.. for all his quirks and dodgy behaviour – MJ will always be the king of pop!

LOL.. Peter.. I’m with you on this one. I love pop but WackoJacko was just weird (ok with maybe the exception of the Thriller video.. have to admit that was pretty awesome!) His screwy high pitched voice and I wanna go to the loo dance routines was only matched by his pathetic personal life – hanging a baby over a balcony, neverland, most white black guy, warped face… gimme a break if any of that can be considered healthy or normal!
