President Zuma announced his cabinet yesterday after an excellent, well-organised inauguration celebration on Saturday at the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
The new team is as follows:

Ex-president Kgalema Motlanthe was happy to be demoted to Deputy President having done his job well as a seat-warmer for Mr Zuma.
Wonkie sincerely wishes the cabinet well in their new roles and hopes President Zuma will be harsh on ensuring they deliver the goods for South Africa going forward. It was a little sad to see Helen ‘I object about everything’ Zille still whingeing like crazy about anything and everything. The sooner Mrs Zille learns to pick her battles carefully, the sooner she may start winning the hearts of the South African majority.

To avoid things falling between the cracks (as they did with the old RDP Office of Jay Naidoo which was supposed to ensure that everything is aligned to RDP), Trev will just have to assert his role as the CEO of the team, with JZ and Kgalema as exec Chariman / Vice Chairman, respectively.

the cabinet looks so good to say , and honestly i see heads rolling cause we never had of such dept as perfomance monitoring &evalution, this should really be a turn-around period, the struggle is over and it service delivery time, i believe in JZ, he will deliever .
yeah…. I feel OK about the new structure; I feel somewhat puzzled too, and a tad worried about the big swing to the left.
As for Zille – hey the woman has to whinge!! (A) She is the opposition and (B) She’s a woman and it’s what we women do best!

I realy think we must support our president and its new cabinet to build our country. but my worry is how will this new ministry be structured, from National to Provincial to Local.Women, Youth, Children and People with disabilities – Noluthando Mayende-Sibiya. becuase people with disabilities are still in the strugel,and not been recognise in all three spheres.

Hopefully JZ has appointed people that can think for themselves not “yes” men like Mbeki had in his cabinet. Who cares if there is not 50% female as long as everybody gets on with improving the country. I think this is S.A last chance before we become another Zim

beats me why jz had to have such a long list of ministries,its like he had to create new posts for his trusted buddies.Where is he taking us to? makes no sense to have all these ministries in the current economic crises we are facing.to me this might be his first big mistake,whats next?
I strongly think the new team has all it takes to make SA proud. Im not sure if the new man in Finance will be as good as Trevor was. But i let’s wait and see.

Due to the dirt that he has had to fend off which has ravaged his credibility and credentials her should never hold any public office.
The manner in which they remove Mbeki`s camp and instal themselves was undemocratic and so legitimacy is in question there!
